I am so very sorry. My heart is heavy. Your mother was such an angel in my life, especially as a child when I needed one most. Growing up was really tough, but your mother offered her time, compassion, love and support. Most of the good memories I have as a child are because of her. I loved visiting museums, parks, and the beach at Corona del Mar. I remember trying fresh bell pepper with her for the first time. I didn't want to eat it, because vegetables were gross, lol! I'm glad she taught me the importance of trying new things, because that day I realized I loved bell peppers.

My favorite memory has to be going to her home and listening to records like "I Know An Old Lady" while baking Christmas cookies and decorating them. These are things I never had the opportunity to experience until Mrs. Feit came into my life. I bake cookies with my girls every year because of her. I wish I could have told her again how much I really appreciated the time she poured ino my life as a child when she didn't have to.
